Space Voyage: Vanguard stems from Daniel’s participation in the Alternate History/Conlanging group, Ill Bethisad. This group has created a rich, vivid alternate history full of constructed languages (conlangs) and the cultures and world that surround them.
As part of his participation, he turned to media, and one of his favorite series. He imagined what this story would’ve become in this universe where so much was different. He imagined that instead of television, the story was turned into books that were highly followed, and immensely popular, leading eventually to a much different television series.
Because of this, readers may find that Vanguard and the entire Starmada Comic series have a seeming familiarity, yet being unique in their own right. We hope that you enjoy the read – and please, tell us what you think!
