… and here’s the second of the star maps. This one, as you can readily see, is different than the starmap uploaded on the 4th, yet based on it. This is the starmap for Merchants of the Space Condominium with ships running on the Crenixian Type-I Generation 2 drive.
As with all technology, the second generation is generally more efficient, effective, and otherwise, spiffier. Because of this, ships with a second generation Type-I Crenixian drive are able to travel further, on the order of 7 light years, capping out around 8 or 8.5 light years, depending on the local gravity situation.
Because of this, new star lanes opened, new star stations became viable, and stations that formerly served only military purpose tranisitioned to service military and civilians alike. These are not all the star lanes of Condominium Space, mind. These are just the ones within about 25 light years of Sol.
